IMPLEMENTATION

SYSTEM ANALYSIS

The client services staff are professionally trained and experienced client representatives with a thorough knowledge of Axon Software and, even more importantly, they understand the unique and complex demands of trucking companies. They will conduct an analysis to make sure they understand your specific needs and your preferred ways of business to make the implementation process as smooth as possible.

CLOUD HOSTING

Managing and maintaining complex hardware requirements and rising IT costs can be time consuming and costly for business owners. Axon Software can help by providing secure and stable server hosting you can depend on. Our short-term or long-term cloud hosting managed services can be highly cost-effective allowing you to focus on your day-to-day business. Computers can and do fail. It’s vital to your business to have a disaster recovery protocol in place with an up-to-date backup available at all times so that you can restore your software and data files and keep your operation running. Axon Software takes a backup snapshot of your database twice a day and monitors your status every night to make sure that everything is working properly.

DATA COLLECTION

A client support representative will contact you to assist in any necessary data collection from your old system to import into Axon Software. This includes chart of accounts, customer, vendor and employee records. This timeline usually takes place a few days after your first introduction call.

TRAINING

SYSTEM TRAINING

Once you have decided to take the step towards greater efficiency and purchased Axon Software, your client services representative will meet with the training and implementation specialists to provide them with a clear picture of your company and its standard operating practices. Axon Software provides live, online training with your own dedicated trainer. The Axon Software training staff will walk you and your staff through the new software and help transfer data over from your old system to Axon Software, giving you the ability to work and train on the system with your own customer, supplier, equipment and driver data.

GO LIVE

It is recommended that at least one executive is trained on the entire system and each user in their respective area. Once these training sessions have been completed, a ‘wipe out’ of the practice data is initiated. All critical information and records are kept; only practice data is removed to keep your business at its current operating functionality. Congratulations, you are now live and part of an elite group benefiting from Axon Software.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING

Training continues to be available once you’re established on Axon Software. We provide training for new staff or for senior management who want to learn more about preparing financial reports and using management tools such as the Executive Briefing and Custom Reports. Axon Software also provides training when you purchase a new Axon Software application such as Tickets, Payroll or Axon Truck Link mobile app. Trainers will help you to learn advanced techniques to make sure you’re getting the full benefits of your system.

SUPPORT

LAUNCH SUPPORT

Once live, you will have a dedicated launch team of support representatives to check in with you and your staff regularly. It is common for the launch team to work closely with new customers for the first month after going live to keep the user experience as positive and easy as possible. We ensure opening account balances, first payroll registers and financial information are setup correctly to optimize the user’s system.

EMERGENCY SUPPORT

Axon Software offers phone and remote access support to your live workstation from 7am CST – 5:30pm CST Monday – Friday, with after hours, weekend and statutory holiday emergency support available as well.

DEVELOPMENT

ADVANCED PROGRAMMING

Operating behind the scenes but in close collaboration with the sales, training, and support staff is the advanced programming team. Your requests and suggestions are given to the programmers and they are constantly at work to improve and develop the system to make it more responsive to your needs.

New and experienced users alike may find the help to be extremely… helpful! Accessible from any screen in Axon Software, Help is set up in six sections:

CONTINUOUS UPDATES

Most software systems never change, or they only provide an update once or twice a year… not Axon Software. The programmers are constantly responding to customer requests and industry needs by improving the system. It may be a small tweak to make the system run more smoothly, a new option that a customer has requested, or new features so that you can customize the system to meet your needs. Your system is updated overnight, several times a week and Axon Software will send you a message within the system outlining the new updated features.
